“I struggled with adult onset cystic acne for most of my undergraduate years and it was naturopathic medicine that gave me my life back. Despite being in a program that was all about fitness I was super unhealthy, my priorities were completely getting through school no mater what that meant. I neglected sleep, ate what I wanted, had no concept of how to manage my time or deal with stress and this took a huge toll on my body and mental health. The best thing I could have done was go see a Naturopathic Doctor myself (which is what introduced me to this field), this truly gave me my confidence and my life back.
